Desmond has served as a BET red carpet correspondent for VH1’s Fashion Rocks, a personal stylist for a wide range of celebrity and professional clients.
Described by eliteDC Magazine as “amazing and talented,” Handon’s immersion in the fashion and entertainment industry has helped EthniCITY become one of the top fashion production companies in Washington, DC.
After having modeled for over 10 years, Desmond originally started the company to create custom men’s neckwear.
Desmond started off styling numerous showcases, homecoming, and fashion competitions for high schools and colleges. His company quickly expanded into show production and custom designs for private clients.
Desmond is currently the style director at 4D-Arts Studio in Landover, Maryland.

Rihanna’s clothing line made its store debut at Shoe City in Baltimore, Maryland on September 7th. The store hosted a private viewing party for the Barbadian beauty’s 2016 Fenty Collection sponsored by Puma.
Last night was an eclectic affair, filled with networking, color, fashion and fun! Models displayed Desmond Handon’s new couture pieces for his luxury line, Ethnicity Brand.
EthniCITY is a fashion and production company founded in 2010 by Desmond Handon. The company produces runway and street wear designs as well as jewelry and other custom accessories for men and women.
